Set up your Synoveo property website with a custom domain and booking widget
Synoveo includes a ready-made property website that showcases your rooms, photos, and amenities, with a built-in booking engine so guests can reserve directly.
What Is the Synoveo Property Website?
Your property website is a professional, mobile-friendly site that Synoveo creates for your property. It pulls information from your Synoveo account, so it always stays up to date.

Your property website is included with your Synoveo subscription. There are no additional hosting fees or setup costs.
Activating Your Website
Go to Website Settings
In your Synoveo console, navigate to Website > Settings in the sidebar.
Review your property information
Synoveo pre-fills your website with information from your property profile. Review it to make sure everything looks right.
Choose your subdomain
Pick a subdomain for your website (e.g., yourproperty.synoveo.com). Keep it short and memorable -- ideally your property name.
Activate the site
Click Publish Site in the status banner at the top of the page. Your website goes live immediately at your chosen subdomain.

Pick a subdomain that matches your property name. Guests should recognize it immediately.
Subdomain rules
- Lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens only
- Must be at least 3 characters
- Must be unique (not already taken)
- Cannot be changed after activation without contacting support
Custom Domain Setup
Want your website at your own domain (e.g., www.yourbrand.com)? You can connect a custom domain.
Get your domain
Purchase a domain from any domain registrar (Namecheap, GoDaddy, Google Domains, etc.) if you don't already have one.
Add the domain in Synoveo
Go to Website > Domain Settings and enter your custom domain name.
Configure DNS records
At your domain registrar, add the DNS records Synoveo provides. Typically, this is a CNAME record pointing to Synoveo's servers.

Verify and activate
Back in Synoveo, click Verify Domain. Once DNS propagation is complete (usually 15 minutes to a few hours), your custom domain will be active with automatic SSL.
DNS changes can take up to 48 hours to propagate globally, though most complete within an hour. Your synoveo.com subdomain continues to work during this time.
The Booking Widget
The booking widget is the heart of your property website. It lets guests check availability and book rooms directly.
What guests see
- Date picker -- Select check-in and check-out dates
- Guest count -- Choose number of adults and children
- Available rooms -- See rooms available for their dates with pricing
- Room details -- View photos, amenities, and description for each room
- Book now -- Complete the reservation with payment
How it connects
The booking widget pulls live data from Synoveo:
- Rates come from your rate plans
- Availability reflects real-time inventory across all channels
- Room details come from your property setup
- Payments process through your connected Stripe account
When a guest books through your property website, it counts as a direct booking with zero commission.
Previewing Your Site
Before going live, preview your website:
- In Website settings, click Preview
- Review how your property appears on desktop and mobile
- Check that rooms, photos, and rates display correctly
- Test the booking widget to ensure it works end to end

Your website automatically pulls content from different parts of your Synoveo account:

Updating your property information in Synoveo automatically updates your website. There's no need to edit the website separately.
Going Live Checklist
Before sharing your website with guests, make sure:
- Property description is complete and compelling
- At least 5-10 quality photos are uploaded
- All room types have descriptions and photos
- Rate plans are configured with current pricing
- Availability calendar is up to date
- Payment processing (Stripe) is connected
- Contact information is correct
- You've tested the booking flow end to end
